Hello

I believe you must bring your whole self to the table if you want to make an impact in today's world; your personality, your sense of humour, and most importantly, your passions. All of these elements brought me to start Mei.

Mei is not just a creative outlet; it's a manifestation of my passion for drawing, the great outdoors, and the thrill of seeking adventure. The world around us is a genuine masterpiece, and through my art, I aim to share my unique perspective, bringing the beauty of it into your world.

My Story

My life for so long was all about sports. Passionate about swimming, soccer, field hockey, skiing, and mountain biking.  Growing up I found success in my athletic endeavours which landed me  the opportunity to play varsity field hockey for the University of Victoria for four years.  It was a challenge and I loved it. I was driven, achieving both the academic and athletic goals I had set for myself, earning a B.S. in Psychology. Then graduation came and went. For the first time, I was left wondering "what now?"

Uncertainty opened the door to a world I had never envisioned for myself: graphic design and voice acting. After working for an education start up (Learn Leap Fly) as a creative and content writer, I realized this could be it. The fast paced environment and complex problem solving lit the flame inside me that guided me down a new path - marketing.  An industry that is both competitive and creative. It fit like a glove.  In 2019, I committed and started my education in marketing at Thompson Rivers University.  I designed and strategized for brands that wanted to build meaningful relationships with their consumers.

I believe in business conducted with respect for people and the planet, my objective was to equip you with the tools necessary to forge genuine connections between your brand and consumers. Now, I transitioned my focus exclusively to art, channeling my creativity into visual expressions that captured the essence of life's adventures.
